~ Advantages:

•Strong and light in weight

•Primary flight controls – cable are used on engine controls, emergency landing gear controls, trim tab system

~ Disadvantages:

•Control movement relates to thermal contraction. (Aircraft climbs, temperature drop and

structure contract and cables lose tension)
